Terms and conditions
The terms behind the free week, the monthly plans and the one-off packages — including what we can and cannot promise.
1Who these terms are between
These terms are between you and HC Marketing, trading as Boost Hospitality — "BOOST", "we" and "us" below — whose registered address is 109 Merley Ways, Broadstone, Poole, Wimborne BH21 1QP, United Kingdom. They apply when you use this website, take the free week, or buy a plan or a package from us.
If we sign a separate written agreement with you, that agreement wins wherever it differs from these terms.
2What we provide
Marketing work for tourism and hospitality businesses across South-East Asia, in three forms:
- The free week — a presence check and a sample of the work, at no cost and with nothing to sign
- Monthly plans — ongoing management, billed monthly
- One-off packages — a defined piece of work for a one-time fee
What each includes is set out on the plans and packages pages, and confirmed in the quote we send you.
3The free week
The free week is exactly that: free, with no contract and no obligation to continue. Everything we produce during it is yours to keep whether or not you go on to become a client.
We run it once per business. We may decline it where a business is not a fit for what we do, or where we would be working against an existing client in the same market and category.
4Quotes, fees and payment
Prices are quoted per business rather than published, because scope varies. We quote within one working day of your enquiry, and a quote stands for 30 days.
Monthly plans are billed monthly in advance. Packages are billed as set out in the quote. Unless the quote says otherwise, fees exclude third-party costs you would pay anyway — advertising spend, platform subscriptions, domain and hosting fees — and exclude any tax we are required to add.
5Cancelling
Monthly plans can be cancelled at the end of any month. There is no notice period and no cancellation fee. Tell us before your next billing date and the following month is not charged.
Months already paid for are not refunded, and we finish the work for the month you have paid. Packages are one-time work: once we have started, the fee is payable for the work done.
6What we need from you
The work depends on access and answers. You agree to:
- Give us the access we need to the accounts we are working in
- Give us accurate information about your business, and tell us when it changes
- Come back on drafts and approvals within a reasonable time
- Hold the rights to any photos, logos or copy you give us to use
Where a delay is on your side, timelines move accordingly.
7What you own
Everything we produce for you is yours. Accounts stay in your name, assets stay in your accounts, and nothing is held hostage if you leave. On request we will hand over what we hold and remove our access.
We keep the right to use general skills, methods and know-how developed while working with you, and to describe the work in our own portfolio — unless you ask us not to, which you can do at any time.
8What we cannot promise
This matters, so it is stated plainly. We can improve how a business appears and how easily it converts, and we will show you the change. We cannot promise:
- A specific position in search results, on Google or anywhere else
- A specific number of bookings, enquiries, followers or reviews
- Any particular revenue outcome
Search engines and social platforms rank and display results on their own terms, and those terms change without notice. Anyone who promises you a ranking is either guessing or misleading you.
9Third-party platforms
Much of the work happens on platforms we do not control — Google, Meta, booking sites and review sites. Each has its own rules, and can change them, restrict a feature, or suspend an account. We work within those rules and will tell you when a change affects you, but we are not responsible for a platform's own decisions.
10Confidentiality
We keep what we learn about your business confidential, and expect the same of you regarding our methods and pricing. This survives the end of our working relationship.
11Liability
Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit.
Subject to that, our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before the claim arose. We are not liable for lost profits, lost bookings, lost data or indirect losses.
12Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when. If you are a client and a change materially affects you, we will tell you before it takes effect, and you can cancel rather than accept it.
13Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and its courts have jurisdiction over any dispute, because that is where we are established. This does not remove any protection you have under the law of the country you live in.
We would far rather sort a problem out by talking. Write to us first.
